My iPod stopped working. Any solutions? Details inside?.
My iPod stopped working. I played some of my music when everything of a sudden my ipod just turned off (keep in mind that the battery was about 85% charged). Now, I can not cut on no matter what I do. When I plug in the charger nothing happens and when I plug it into the computer, it does not appear. My iPod seems completely dead. What can I do to fix this? This is a 5th generation 60GB iPod Video.
Open it, remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, replace battery, try to play again. This will cause the internal processor to restart from scratch. It often takes care of "soft failure" problems that seem severe. If this does not work, then you probably need professional services.
